Staffing Coordinator Summary of Responsibilities
The Staffing Coordinator is an integral part of the management team, working hand in hand with the DON to ensure appropriate staffing, maintain direction, and support scheduling needs. This role develops and maintains a strong working rapport with interdepartmental employees and departments within the facility.

Qualifications
Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator / Director within a nursing center or healthcare setting — desired
Ability to build strong relationships and gain staff support
Superior organization skills and attention to detail
High level of flexibility and ability to handle stress, change, and unexpected occurrences
High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars
Complete nursing schedules and coordinate requests to ensure appropriate unit coverage
Consult with Nursing Department staff and supervisors regarding staffing and scheduling needs>
Assist employees with accurate completion and timeliness of Time Request Forms
Contact employees via telephone, email, text, etc. to keep work sheets and schedules up to date
Answer employee calls regarding staffing and scheduling functions
