Overview
The Recruiter role is responsible for recruiting top talent into the organization through traditional and innovative recruiting channels. This position will be expected to proactively market Southwest Transplant Alliance as an employer of choice and seek passive and active candidates for open positions.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Communicate: Respond to job applicants promptly, conduct applicant phone screenings, administer assessments, deliver employment offers, communicate important employment information such as benefits, compensation, and orientation, create consistent branding with the Supervisor of Recruitment, partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and maintain relationships, and follow up with candidates and hiring managers for feedback.
Time Management: Monitor and manage employee requisitions to maintain hiring momentum, manage current candidate and internal transfer activity within ATS, develop and maintain recruitment pipelines, and coordinate interview scheduling and hiring timelines with hiring managers.
Attention to Detail: Maintain and understand recruitment metrics such as time to fill, offer acceptance, and vacancy management; screen resumes and applications; ensure compliance with employment laws; maintain accurate candidate documentation; adhere to People Services’ policies and procedures.
Problem Solving: Use traditional and non‑traditional resources such as career fairs, community events, and online platforms; develop job postings to ensure high visibility and alignment with market trends; perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration with an emphasis in Human Resources; alternative education and experience may be considered.
Preferred HR certifications: HRCI Professional in HR (PHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP), or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP).
Minimum 5–8 years in recruitment/talent acquisition.
Minimum 3 years of healthcare or OPO recruiting experience.
Proficiency with applicant tracking system (ATS).
Current Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Classified as OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Category III; not routinely expected to handle blood or bodily fluids.
Follow safety policies and report potential exposure incidents immediately.
Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality standards; safeguard confidential information.
