
Warehouse Laborer - SRC Industrial Crop

Position Summary
Reporting to the Maintenance Team, the Warehouse Laborer is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to support daily production operations. This role focuses on hands‑on warehouse upkeep, including pallet management, debris removal, and maintaining clear production aisles. The position requires independent work, frequent movement, and operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and floor scrubbers. Cleanliness and organization are critical to ensuring a safe and efficient workflow for all team members.
Follow all prescribed safety procedures and maintain a strong focus on workplace safety
Operate forklifts to move, stack, sort, and organize pallets and materials
Maintain warehouse cleanliness through manual sweeping and operation of industrial floor scrubbers
Keep production aisles clean, organized, and free of debris or safety hazards
Organize and maintain material and equipment storage locations
Empty and dispose of contents from large trash bins and recycling containers
Perform general warehouse cleaning to support production efficiency and safety
Identify and address potential safety concerns related to cleanliness and organization
Perform light maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned
Work independently to prioritize tasks and maintain consistent cleanliness standards
Communicate with supervisors regarding completed work and any issues impacting operations
Assist other departments with general labor and cleanup tasks as needed
Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being a part owner of the company
Work Environment
Exposure to warehouse conditions including dust, debris, noise, and varying temperatures for moderate to extended periods of time is expected. This position requires operation of industrial equipment such as forklifts and floor cleaning machines. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear personal protective equipment in designated areas.
Schedule
Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM
Physical Demands
Sitting 5%, standing/walking 95%. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb ladders, operate scissor‑lift, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; talk and hear. This position requires passing an audiogram, pulmonary function test, and a physical.
Minimum Qualifications Required
High School Diploma/GED plus one year practical experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Competent oral and written communication skills
