Food Production Worker - Sanitation

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facility. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform industrial cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the facility
Clean and sanitize production equipment, work areas, and restrooms
Remove waste and debris from designated areas
Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and power washers
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a high level of cleanliness in food processing areas
Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies
Note: This position requires physical labor, including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications
Previous experience in warehouse, food processing, or custodial work is preferred
Ability to fabricate and follow sanitation procedures effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods of time
Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques is a plus
Familiarity with food production sanitation standards is an advantage
