Job Title:
ASSOCIATE-SCM LOGISTICS
Location:
Rochester, MN
Duration:
05 months (Contract)
Responsibilities
Receive direction from SCM leadership and work collaboratively in a team environment with physicians, allied health professionals, administrators, SCM staff, vendors, and others internal and external to Mayo.
Support accurate receiving, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, warehousing, and storage of products; ensure safety, security, and productivity standards.
Interact with suppliers regarding expediting, returns, and resolving invoice/receipt problems.
Provide support for SCM - Logistics; handle a high volume of incoming requests via phone, mail, and fax from Mayo Clinic staff; serve as a point of contact from other SCM areas to resolve inquiries and problems; coordinate with SCM personnel as needed; participate in special projects.
Research and resolve problem transactions related to invoices not received and received not invoiced; research aged items on proof of delivery, shipping mode, and returns; support distribution of medical products and services including controlled substances and hazardous materials.
Utilize reports to ensure data integrity in transactions, including handling instructions, expediting, critical orders, and routine fulfillment.
Identify trends causing processing delays and collaborate to implement long-term solutions; comply with policies and governmental regulations; assist with SCM leadership-directed projects.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Licensure / Certification
Required:
A driver’s license may be required for a subset of employees; driving may be required under those circumstances.

Serves as a resource on department and institutional initiatives; shares knowledge with customers and colleagues.

Ability to handle and prioritize tasks concurrently; basic understanding of accounting principles; provides support to all departments and collaborates with other areas of SCM to ensure exceptional customer service.
Ability to manage time to meet required deadlines.
Education & Experience
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma/GED; AND two (2) years' supply chain or business-related experience required.
Equivalency:
Associate’s Degree plus one (1) year of experience will be considered equivalent.
