Customer Service Representative
Key responsibilities include engaging with customers, processing orders both over the phone and in person, managing cash transactions, upselling products, and preparing high‑quality pizzas.
CSR Responsibilities
Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills
Take orders over the phone and in person
Deal with customer concerns
Cash handling and providing correct monetary change
Upsell products
Make Domino’s high quality pizzas
Maintain food and portion control
Ensure hygiene and food safety
Engage in food preparation and general cleaning duties
General Job Duties
Operate all equipment
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
Prepare product
Receive and process telephone orders
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
Communication Skills
Comprehend and give correct written instructions
Verbal communication with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person
Essential Functions / Skills
Accurate arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and quick use of calculator
Ability to provide correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid precise movements
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Work Conditions
Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outdoor tasks
In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to >90°F
Sudden changes in temperature inside and outside
Exposure to fumes from food odors
Exposure to cornmeal dust
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler
Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
Safety and Physical Requirements
Standing for most tasks
Walking short distances, short durations
Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 50 lbs, stacking onto shelves up to 72 inches high
Carrying: Large cans (≈3 lbs), pizza sauce (~30 lbs), trays of dough (≈12 lbs each)
Pushing: Trays on dollies (≈24‑30 lbs), requiring up to 7.5 lbs force
Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders
Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the pizza assembly station and front counter
Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas
Reaching: continuously up, down, forward
Hand Tasks: Continuous use of hands for activities such as shaping pizza dough
Required Physical Abilities
Depth perception
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
Desired Temperaments
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, make judgments and decisions
