Overview
As a
Saw Shop Operator , you’ll set up builders for success by operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation. You’ll be a vital part of our pallet manufacturing process.
Hourly Pay:
$16.60/hr.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Location:
Chicago, IL 60624
Responsibilities
Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
Ability to work overtime as needed
Maintain attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis
Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing experience highly preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to work overtime as needed
