As a
Saw Shop Operator , you’ll get to support our builders by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation. You’ll play a vital role in our pallet manufacturing process and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this position.
Hourly Pay:
$17.00 per hour
Shift:
2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:30am
Location:
Eastford, CT 06242
Responsibilities
Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets.
Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
Communicate effectively with plant management on a regular basis.
Work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Previous experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, or roofing is highly preferred.
Quick hands, strong attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication skills.

Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
