Psychiatry - Addiction Physician

We are currently seeking a Psychiatry Physician for a rewarding locum opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA, providing care in an inpatient correctional health setting. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a structured weekday schedule.

Location:

Pittsburgh

️ Assignment Duration:

• May 2026 July 2026

Schedule:

• Monday Friday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• No weekends required (based on current schedule)

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient (Correctional Facility)

Scope of Work:

• Provide psychiatric care for adult patients with acute mental health conditions

• Coverage in acute mental health units

• Responsibilities include:

  • Patient evaluations and assessments

  • Medication management

  • Treatment planning and follow-ups

Requirements:

• Board Eligible in Psychiatry

• BLS required; ACLS preferred

• Active Pennsylvania medical license

Additional Details:

• Credentialing timeframe: 60 days

• Candidates should provide availability and earliest start date
