Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting principles and regulations. The role will also involve analyzing financial data, creating budgets, developing financial reports, and providing strategic guidance on financial matters to the leadership team. Collaboration with other departments and stakeholders is a key component of this position.
Qualifications
Expertise in Financial Accounting, General Ledger Maintenance, and Financial Reporting
Proficient in Budgeting, Financial Analysis, and Forecasting
Strong understanding of compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
Experience with Accounting Software, ERP Systems, and Advanced Excel skills
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus)
5+ years of experience in accounting or a related financial role
Knowledge of or experience in the manufacturing or building materials industry is highly advantageous
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 based on experience.
