Medical Sales & Business Development Manager (Polymers)
Western USA (home based in any US Western state)
MK Search is partnered with a global leader in high-performance polymers to support the hire of a Medical Sales & Business Development professional focused on the medical device and pharmaceutical markets.
This is a high-impact, commercially driven role combining account management, business development, and technical sales , with strong visibility across global teams.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of key medical accounts while driving new business growth across the Western US. This role will suit someone who thrives in a technical, customer-facing environment and enjoys building long-term partnerships with leading OEMs.
Manage and grow strategic accounts within medical device and pharmaceutical sectors
Develop new business opportunities and expand market presence
Drive adoption of advanced polymer solutions into new and existing applications
Lead commercial and technical engagement with customers, including presentations and training
Collaborate with global sales, marketing, and technical teams to support development programs
Execute pricing strategies and support commercial negotiations
Deliver market insights, forecasts, and pipeline updates
Represent the business at trade shows, events, and customer meetings
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in technical sales, business development, or applications within polymers/materials
Experience selling into medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical markets
Strong understanding of engineering plastics
Proven ability to win and grow commercial programs with OEMs
Experience managing complex, multi-level customer relationships
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a global organisation
Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or similar
