Summary
The Computer Technician will be responsible for providing computer diagnostics and repairs on tablets, laptops, desktops, and all in one systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities approximately 90% of the job:

Primary responsibility is to diagnose and repair laptops.

Troubleshoot and diagnose computer systems, both hardware and software.

Manually examine and repair computer hardware and peripheral components.

Take apart and re-assemble computer components and parts.

Analyze failed equipment according to established methods or procedures and determine repairability.

Resolve hardware technical issues within time schedule and provide break‑and‑fix solution using in‑house system.

May manually set up computer systems and hardware, and install or re‑install software programs for users.

Meet daily units per hour metrics – minimum KPI standard of 1.49 or above (able within 90 days).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Efficiencies

Qualifications

Working toward completing A+ certification.

Currently attending technical school.

2 to 3 years of repair experience needed.

Experience in low‑production PC environment.

Experienced with 1‑2 OEMs.

Knowledge of simple or repetitive component replacement such as LCD/HDD across multiple commodities.

Working knowledge of models such as Dell, HP, Toshiba, Apple, and Acer.

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Working Conditions
Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions range from hot in summer to cold in winter. May need to walk extensively, reach over shoulder heights, bend or stoop below waist, perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
