Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Must be able to speak fluent Spanish and English ( no exceptions)

Bonus: Monthly bonus structure available when performance goals are met

Schedule: Must be available to work every other Saturday

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and motivated Bilingual Collections Agent fluent in both Spanish and English to join our team in Lee County, MS. This role focuses on contacting customers regarding overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring accurate documentation of all collection activities. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively across language barriers, maintain professionalism, and balance assertiveness with empathy.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Outreach: Contact customers in both Spanish and English to resolve past‑due accounts and negotiate payment plans.

Account Management: Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up promptly, and escalate accounts when necessary.

Relationship Building: Maintain positive and professional communication while adhering to company policies and legal guidelines.

Documentation: Record all calls, emails, payment commitments, and account updates in the CRM system.

Issue Resolution: Investigate billing discrepancies, disputes, or questions that may delay payment.

Negotiation: Establish payment arrangements and settlement agreements in accordance with company standards.

Payment Processing: Assist customers with electronic payments and recurring payment setups.

Skip Tracing: Use skip‑tracing tools and databases to locate customers who are difficult to reach.

Performance Goals: Meet monthly collection targets to qualify for bonus incentives.

Qualifications

Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English (required)

Experience in collections, customer service, or call center environments preferred

Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills

Ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic in challenging situations

Comfortable using CRM systems and computer‑based tools

Reliable, punctual, and able to work every other Saturday

High school diploma or equivalent required
