In this role, you will provide high-quality psychiatric services to individuals in need, offering both emergency and ongoing care to support mental health and overall well-being. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, PMHNP to be a part of a team focused on providing empathetic, innovative care.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages.Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as appropriate.Provide therapy and counseling services, either individually or in group settings.Collaborate with healthcare providers to create integrated care plans for patients.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients in compliance with healthcare regulations.Ensure quality care and a high standard of patient satisfaction.Participate in emergency mental health care when needed, responding to critical situations effectively and with compassion.Provide education and resources to patients and their families about mental health and treatment options.Qualifications:Licensure: Must be a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Texas.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PMHNP, with experience in emergency mental health care preferred.Skills:Strong knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, treatment modalities, and psychiatric medication management.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy.Location Requirement: Must be able to commute to the Wylie, TX facility within one hour.Compensation & Benefits:First 3 months: Paid on a 1099 basis with a competitive hourly rate.After 3 months: Transition to hourly or salary compensation, based on the specific needs of the role and the candidates qualifications.Flexible hours: Work-life balance supported.Opportunity for growth and development within a supportive, compassionate healthcare environment.
