
Interior Design Assistant

Plan, design, and facilitate the execution of interior design for single family projects according to clients needs, desires, and financial resources.
This role is to support senior designers with design and execution of high end residential projects. Procurement, logistics, and executions are primary responsibilities required of candidates. Candidates should be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Interface with clients, vendors and project team
Work in Studio Designer to propose, order, and track client items
Procure selected materials, furniture, finishes, and organize deliveries
Produce and revise design drawings
Coordinate with consultants and vendors
Coordinate finish selections
Produce visualization and presentations
Organize pick-ups, deliveries, drop-offs and other logistical tasks required
Perform product and vendor research
Attend site meetings and installations
Applicant Requirements / Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with computer-aided design software including CAD and BIM
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency in Studio Designer preferred
Knowledge of procurement and sourcing
Excellent problem-solving, management, and organizational skills
Must have drivers license and have a car
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Interior Design or related fields
1-3 year experience in high end residential architecture, including internships.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
This job has 40 hours/week of in-studio time
