Interior Design Assistant (Entry Level)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Entry‑Level Interior Design Assistant to support our interior design team. This role focuses on providing administrative and logistical support while learning the full design process.
Key Responsibilities:
Call workrooms, suppliers, and vendors to request quotes and pricing.
Follow up on quotes, compare options, and organize pricing information.
Prepare checklists for projects, installations, and material orders.
Facilitate day‑to‑day administrative operations of the studio.
Assist with material sourcing, sample tracking, and maintaining design libraries.
Support senior designers with mood boards, presentations, and client deliverables.
Coordinate schedules, orders, and basic project documentation.
Handle general studio admin tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent phone and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Interest in interior design and willingness to learn design software.
Passion for design; customer‑centric; proactive in learning; team player yet capable of independent work.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Previous administrative or customer service experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
