
Interior Design Project Manager

Niche Interiors is seeking an experienced Interior Design Project Manager to join our boutique San Francisco studio. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and proactive with project management experience in high-end interior design or residential architecture. We offer competitive pay and generous benefits including profit share, 401k and PTO. Hybrid work schedule – 3 days at our Dogpatch Studio in San Francisco and 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities
Oversee high-end residential projects from start to completion
Manage project timelines, furniture orders and trades for multiple projects
Coordinate with custom workrooms, fabricators, subcontractors and showrooms
Request pricing and prepare detailed presentations, budget spreadsheets and client invoices
Expedite furniture purchase orders with showrooms and retail outlets
Act as the point of contact with our receiving warehouse to ensure items arrive safely and on time
Manage and oversee installations throughout California (majority in the San Francisco Bay Area and Wine Country)
Requirements
3+ years of experience in high-end residential design, construction or architecture
Associate or Bachelors Degree
Clearly and effectively communicates (verbally and via email) with vendors and contractors
Detail-oriented, highly organized, with strong multi-tasking skills
Strong MS Excel and Word skills; Mac Proficient
Familiarity with Design Center showrooms
Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment
Basic Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills (or quick learner)
Basic Quickbooks skills (or quick learner)
Must be a proactive problem solver, being assertive in finding solutions and communicating with vendors
Valid Drivers License and access to a car
