Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer – Electrical
Duration: Contract (Till Financial Year 2027)
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (Sun–Wed or Sun–Tue)
About the Role
We are seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer – Electrical to support electrical infrastructure within a data center environment. This role is responsible for maintaining high-availability power systems, executing planned maintenance, and ensuring no disruption to critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support electrical systems across data center facilities, including large and small sites
Perform controlled shutdowns of Remote Power Panels (RPP) while maintaining critical load on alternate sources
Execute Power Distribution Unit (PDU) shutdowns for maintenance activities such as meter replacement
Conduct Power Interruption Testing (PIT) in accordance with safety and operational procedures
Perform controller shutdowns and replacements, ensuring proper system restoration
Monitor and operate Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS)
Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure quick resolution without impacting uptime
Follow all safety protocols and compliance standards
Support tasks aligned with CE Technician Level 1 and Level 2 responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or technical environments
Experience working in data centers or other high-availability environments such as hospitals, manufacturing plants, or oil and gas facilities
Strong understanding of electrical systems and power distribution
Working knowledge of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS)
Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
OSHA or NFPA 70E certification
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and flexible schedules
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with UPS systems, switchgear, and backup generators
