Position Title: COMMUNICATIONS & EVENT ADMINISTRATOR - EXTON, PA
Salary: $23 - $25 / hr
Job Summary: Canteen is now hiring a Communications and Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team! We need a highly organized, detail‑oriented team member who enjoys being hands‑on and bringing events to life. This role supports the planning and execution of meetings, events, and internal communications initiatives. You will be a pivotal support team member and must be comfortable diving into a multitude of tasks and “to do” lists. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives behind the scenes, enjoys hospitality‑style service, and takes pride in making sure every detail is executed flawlessly.
What You’ll Do:
Support the planning and execution of meetings and events under the direction of the Communications lead
Assist with event logistics, timelines, materials, and vendor coordination
Assist with maintaining event documents, checklists, and schedules
Communicate with vendors to confirm details, track deadlines, and manage follow‑ups
Ensure all assigned event‑related materials are accurate, complete, and delivered on time
Provide on‑site support for meetings and events as needed
Assist with creative projects in collaboration with the Communications & Marketing team
Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and confirm details
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in event coordination, hospitality, administrative support or a related field
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through
A dependable team player with a positive, can‑do attitude
Basic creative skills, including familiarity with simple design tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while following established processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience assisting with meetings, conferences or events
Bilingual (English / Spanish) communication skills
