Overview
US Conec is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Scheduler to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you’ll develop, manage, and coordinate production schedules to support efficient assembly operations. This role ensures alignment between demand, materials, labor, and capacity while communicating priorities across cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and communicate the weekly assembly production schedule in alignment with JDE, Production Tracker, and Shipping priorities.
Translate weekly demand into daily and shift‑level production plans.
Manage schedule updates based on changing priorities and constraints.
Align production schedules with available capacity, labor hours, and headcount.
Identify risks, constraints, and bottlenecks and adjust plans accordingly.
Maintain capacity models to support planning and future state needs.
Validate material readiness and kit availability prior to schedule release.
Partner with Planning, Procurement, and Molding to address shortages or risks.
Monitor planned vs. actual production performance (labor, hours, output).
Communicate gaps and support development of recovery actions.
Serve as the primary liaison between Planning and Assembly.
Attend and participate in operational, leadership, and cross‑functional meetings both in‑person and remote.
Ensure alignment on production priorities and schedule changes.
Manage production priorities and schedule changes across shifts.
Ensure consistent communication and execution of schedules.
Identify and support improvements in scheduling, labor utilization, and process flow.
Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in production/capacity planning in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools (e.g., Production Manager), along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge in production scheduling, capacity planning, and overall manufacturing flow.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Detail‑oriented with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven and results‑oriented approach.
