Job Description
Our Client is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in their Cherry Hill office.
Pay Range: $85k-$125k
Responsibilities
Assists Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy.
Builds relationships with clients, TPAs, insurers, and employers to ensure prompt case resolution and client satisfaction.
Evaluates the merits of a workers’ compensation claim.
Conducts extensive legal research and drafts correspondences, pleadings, appeals and appellate briefs.
Drafts and responds to written discovery requests.
Reviews medical records, prepares for, and attends trials.
Represents clients in various legal proceedings, including discovery, motions, and trials.
Assists in preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs.
Requirements
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New Jersey Bar. Additional admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is helpful.
1-3 years’ experience in NJ Workers’ Compensation.
Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced practice.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer software programs.
