Overview
Our client, a well-known regional law firm with a national presence, seeks a mid-level securities and capital markets attorney with four to eight years of experience for the Buffalo office.
Responsibilities
Represent issuers and investment banks in public and private offerings of securities.
Advise publicly traded companies on compliance with the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, exchange listing standards, and corporate governance requirements.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment to deliver high-quality client service.
Draft and negotiate securities-related agreements and documents with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
Four to eight years of securities and capital markets experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
Experience representing issuers and investment banks in public and private offerings.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills and strong academic credentials.
Experience advising on compliance with the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, exchange listing standards, and corporate governance is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
As of this posting, the estimated annual base salary range for this position is $139,000 – $177,000. Actual base salary will be based upon qualifications, experience, and skill level. The firm offers work/life balance and a progressive bonus structure.
