Subscriber Analytics Manager

Our client, a global entertainment company, is looking to hire a Subscriber Analytics Manager on a freelance basis, ASAP!

This role will last 6-12 months and is remote to start, with the potential to go fully onsite (NY or Miami)

Responsibilities

Analyze subscriber lifecycle stages including onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, and churn

Write efficient SQL queries (primarily in BigQuery) to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets

Track and report on key performance metrics

Conduct recurring and ad-hoc analyses to support weekly business reviews and strategic decision‑making

Build and maintain automated reporting pipelines using Google Sheets connected to BigQuery

Partner with cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis (preferably in subscription or digital media businesses)

Strong SQL skills with experience querying large datasets (BigQuery preferred)

Experience building automated reports and dashboards (Google Sheets, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools)

Solid understanding of subscription metrics
