Responsibilities
Process
weekly payroll
for hourly field and office employees in a construction environment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Review and audit timecards for proper job codes, cost codes, overtime, and prevailing wage requirements.
Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, rate changes, and deductions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations, including construction-specific requirements.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
1+ years of payroll experience , ideally within a construction environment.
Hands-on experience processing
weekly payroll
for hourly employees.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Working knowledge of payroll systems and strong Excel skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict weekly deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with project teams.
