Certified Payroll Administrator
Location: Kern County
Pay: $28 – $30/hr
We are seeking a Certified Payroll Administrator to join a stable service company in Kern County. This role will be responsible for processing payroll with a focus on certified payroll reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll including certified payroll reports
Ensure compliance with prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data
Review timecards and ensure proper wage classifications
Prepare and submit required compliance reports
Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Support audits and maintain documentation for compliance
Collaborate with HR and accounting teams as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of payroll experience, including certified payroll
Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws and compliance requirements
Experience with payroll systems and Excel
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
