Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the therapist and coordinator to meet the needs of patients and families by providing social services to individuals under the direction of a licensed social worker or licensed therapist. Responsibilities include leading educational/enrichment groups with behavioral health patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure timely, cost‑effective discharge and transition planning, and performing some clerical and registration duties. The role serves a wide age range, from adolescents to geriatrics, demonstrating an understanding of the functional and developmental needs of each individual. The employee is expected to embody the Core Values and support the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.

Job Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s in Health Care or Behavioral Health related field
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
Experience with Behavioral Health Care
