We’re working with a
global investment management firm
looking to hire a high-calibre Paralegal to join its Legal Fund team in New York.
This is not a typical paralegal role.
You’ll sit at the centre of a fast-paced, commercially driven legal function supporting fund activity, investor processes, and strategic projects across the business.
The Role
You’ll work closely with a team of attorneys on a broad range of matters including:
Supporting fund formation and ongoing fund lifecycle work
Coordinating investor due diligence processes (DDQs, AML/KYC, regulatory requests)
Managing side letters and monitoring ongoing obligations
Reviewing investor-facing materials (presentations, RFPs, marketing content)
Supporting board processes (pack preparation, resolutions, governance)
Liaising with Investor Relations, Compliance, Finance, and external stakeholders
Assisting with contract review (NDAs, vendor agreements, ad hoc documentation)
Driving key projects and acting as a central coordinator across teams
This is a highly visible role with real ownership and cross-functional exposure.
The Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
Educated to a high standard (strong academic background preferred)
Trained in a top-tier law firm and/or currently working in an investment manager, private equity or hedge fund environment
Experienced in corporate, funds or investment management work (paralegal or equivalent)
Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple workstreams
Commercially aware, proactive and confident working with senior stakeholders
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Exposure to fund structures, investor processes or regulatory work is advantageous but not essential.
