Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Med Surg

Shift: 12H Day/Night Rotate

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse will work in the Med Surg unit, providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical needs. The role involves floating between the Med Surg and Emergency Department.

Responsibilities:

• Admit, discharge, and transfer patients
• Titrate medications and start IVs
• Work with PICC/Ports and participate in codes
• Respond to traumas and read telemetry strips
• Complete EKGs and float between departments

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
• Experience working with Insulin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Levophed drips
• Ability to work independently with minimal staff
• Experience in Emergency Department
