Summer Student Worker

Under the direction of the Facilities Department, the Student Worker will complete assigned tasks to include, but not limited to cleaning and painting the school buildings, moving furniture, and general building maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform routine upkeep and maintenance of furnishings, fixtures, and equipment within the assigned unit
Perform janitorial duties as needed
Assist with general building maintenance
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths
Education: N/A; Must be an active scholar in good standing at a Heritage Academy School
Experience: None required
Special Skills
Type of fingerprint clearance: N/A
Physical functions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Equipment used: Frequent use of maintenance equipment
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
