Job Details Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT / OTR/L) Location: Baltimore, MD 21236 — serving Harford County and Baltimore County (Maryland) Setting: Hospital (acute care / inpatient rehabilitation / hospital-based OT) Employment Type: Travel, On-site Contract Duration: 27 weeks (April 26, 2026 – October 31, 2026) Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts) Open Positions: 2 Travel OTs Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 – $2,060 Travel Perks: Mileage reimbursed between patient visits Qualifications / Job Requirements Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) required; OTD acceptable Current, unencumbered Occupational Therapy license in your state of residence and eligibility to practice in Maryland (MD OT license or compact/reciprocity where applicable) OTR/L credential preferred (Registered Occupational Therapist / Licensed) CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist (hospital, acute care, inpatient rehab, or home health experience a plus) OASIS certification is a plus for clinicians with home health exposure Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to meet functional goals Provide interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, adaptive equipment training, and safety Deliver patient and caregiver education, including Home Exercise Programs (HEPs) to promote independence and prevent hospital readmission Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, PT, SLP, social work, physicians) to coordinate care across the continuum Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Work proactively to prevent hospitalization and improve patient outcomes through evidence-based OT interventions Benefits & Perks Competitive estimated weekly pay and guaranteed 40 hours/week Mileage reimbursement between patient visits Opportunity to work in a supportive, hospital-based rehabilitation team Exposure to diverse caseloads across Harford and Baltimore Counties Professional development and networking opportunities in Maryland occupational therapy jobs Ready to join our healthcare team?
