
Founding Recruiting Coordinator - Upto $130k base plus Equity

We're a frontier AI lab, backed by top-tier VCs and some of the most respected names in technology, pioneering general-purpose world models with applications across robotics, healthcare, science, and beyond. Our research team is world-class, drawn from DeepMind, Tesla, Waymo, Meta, and Apple. We're scaling fast and need a recruiting coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of our hiring machine.
About the role
This is a foundational hire for our people function. You'll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and founders to ensure every candidate interaction reflects the quality and ambition of what we're building. You'll own the coordination of complex, multi-stage interview loops across research, engineering, and leadership — and help shape the processes that scale with us.
What you'll do
Own end-to-end interview scheduling across all open roles, including complex multi-stage loops with founders, researchers, and engineering leaders across time zones
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first touchpoint through to offer, being the face of us to every person who enters our process
Manage and maintain our ATS (Ashby), keeping pipelines clean, flagging bottlenecks, and ensuring data hygiene across all active searches
Track and report on key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline conversion rates, interviewer utilisation, and scheduling turnaround
Proactively identify and fix process inefficiencies before anyone has to ask
What we're looking for
2+ years of recruiting coordination experience in a fast-paced tech company, ideally at a high-growth startup (Series A–D)
Proven experience scheduling complex interview loops across multiple time zones and seniority levels
Hands-on ATS experience — Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar. You know how to keep a pipeline clean and move fast
Relentlessly organised — you can juggle 15+ open roles simultaneously without dropping a detail
High sense of urgency and ownership — in a competitive talent market, speed matters
Discreet and trustworthy — you'll handle sensitive compensation, equity, and organisational information daily
