A typical day looks like:
Perform a wide range of activities related to training material development, as well as safety training
Build and prepare all training materials and classroom prior to delivery of training courses
Coordination of availability of equipment for the evaluation portion of training
Efficiently communicate and teach required training courses
Interpreting government/agency regulations and stay up to date on regulations that apply within the construction industry
Attends courses, conferences, & seminars as necessary
Do you have what it takes?
You are someone who has the ability to lead training sessions with charisma and intelligence that can engage and interact with people of any level.
Ability to travel up to 50% travel to project locations and onsite visits
Using solid project and time management to achieve objectives
Use Microsoft Office to include but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, & Word
Teach and help Develop and/or improve training programs as directed by leadership
Flexibility with work schedule to accommodate training sessions outside of regular business hours
Strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints, and manage shifting priorities
Effective questioning and feedback; assessing training needs
Communicating effectively in a diverse range of audiences and settings (bi-lingual is a bonus!)
Knowledge of regulatory agencies & associated standards MSHA, OSHA, ANSI
