Role Summary
The Controller oversees all financial operations including accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all financial activities while supporting the Chief Financial Officer with strategic financial insight and reporting. The Controller maintains strong internal controls and ensures financial data integrity across the organization.
Core Responsibilities
LMA
Provide leadership, structure, and accountability within the finance team.
Ensure team members understand roles, expectations, and financial standards.
Support development, training, and performance improvement.
Accounts Payable
Oversee accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing, approval, and document tracking policies.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable
Ensure timely billing and accurate posting of customer payments.
Monitor outstanding balances and supports collection activities.
Maintain accurate customer account records.
Payroll
Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company payroll policies.
Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Financial Reporting
Maintain timely and accurate monthly financial reports and closing.
Prepare financial reports for leadership, financial institutions, and bonding agencies.
Ensures financial data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required, along with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Controller or equivalent senior‑level financial leadership role

Able to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Punctual, professional, and team‑oriented
