Our client is in need of a
Financial Analyst.
The position will report to the Controller and will have a variety of duties, but will fundamentally focus upon the production and generation of the periodic financial statements and analytical reports.
Job Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst position:
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
Prepare monthly account reconciliations
Review and prepare financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
Handle monthly and annual inventory reconciliation
Job Requirements for the Financial Analyst Position:
Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years full-cycle, general accounting/finance experience
Prior ERP experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
