Senior Accounting Analyst

One of our clients in San Antonio, Texas is looking to bring on a Senior Accounting Analyst to their team immediately.

Job Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst

• Prepare cost transfer entries on a monthly basis


• Participate in the monthly consolidated close, including extended work hours during close to meet deadlines


• Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP


• Prepare financial statements and related analyses


• Prepare account reconciliations for related accounts and resolve any discrepancies


• Execute internal controls to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP


• Support internal and external audits


• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Analyst

• Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred)


• 1-2 years of accounting experience


• Strong project management skills - able to work on multiple projects concurrently


• Proficient with common PC software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)


• Must be a U.S. citizen


• Deltek Costpoint software experience


• Government contracting experience
