Network Support Engineer (1 day Per Week Onsite in Sandy Springs)

TekStream is seeking a Network Administrator / Network Support Engineer for a 7 month contract plus extensions paying $35 to $38/hr.
Responsibilities
Hands on network operations support.
Inventory, operational management, patching, firmware updates, support requests, incidents, maintenance window availability and support.
Implements and optimizes enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud networking to ensure high performance and scalability
Deploys, configures, and maintains enterprise networking solutions, including Cisco and Meraki, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity
Supports network firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS/IDS), and access control policies to mitigate threats and protect sensitive data
Implements and maintains network configurations aligned with SOC, HITRUST, HIPAA, and NIST standards, participates in audits and remediation activities as directed
Monitors, optimizes, and enhances network performance, redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity
Troubleshoots complex network incidents within established architectures and escalates design, legacy debt, or cross-platform issues requiring re-architecture
