Diesel Mechanic | $39-43+ hr DOE | Full Benefits | San Leandro, CA
We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Oakland / San Leandro -based fleet service team. If you're a pro with diesel and gas trucks who wants to work for a stable, high-paying operation we want to talk.
Schedule
Monday through Friday- 5am-1:30 pm shift
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle/equipment condition.
Complete preventive maintenance schedules and inspections to keep equipment available for use.
Correct vehicle deficiencies by repairing or replacing various components and systems.
Conduct test drives to verify vehicle performance, adjusting controls and systems as necessary.
Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements.
Keep detailed records of services and repairs.
Manage shop equipment, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Maintain inventory of supplies and parts.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Be prepared for field inspections and repairs in various weather conditions.

GED
Valid Driver’s License
Proven experience as a mechanic
Self-motivated and accountable
Must have Own Tools

The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently and as part of a team and have experience with a diverse fleet of vehicles, including gas and diesel-powered, and medium-duty diesel vehicles.
