Maintains, repairs, and replaces refrigeration, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems for the school District.

Job Description
Working Calendar: 261 Days/ 8 Hours.

Mechanical Maintenance Journeyman
Salary Schedule: 1B, Grade 11.

Estimated starting hourly range: $24.43 - $32.76.

Subject to experience verification.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Three (3) years of experience in commercial heating, air conditioning, and controls.

Mechanical Maintenance Technician III
Salary Schedule: 1B, Grade 9.

Estimated starting hourly range: $21.84 - $29.22.

Subject to experience verification.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Five (5) years of experience in commercial heating, air conditioning, and controls.

Refrigeration Handling Certification Type I or Type II.

Valid driver’s license.

Effective communication skills.

Mechanical Maintenance Technician II
Salary Schedule: 1B, Grade 7.

Estimated starting hourly range: $20.12 - $27.00.

Subject to experience verification.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Three (3) years of experience in commercial heating, air conditioning, and controls.

Valid driver’s license.

Effective communication skills.

Mechanical Maintenance Technician I
Salary Schedule: 1B, Grade 5.

Estimated starting hourly range: $18.64 - $25.02.

Subject to experience verification.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Valid driver’s license.

Effective communication skills.
