
Land Surveyor

In the role of Land Surveyor, we’ll count on you to:
Coordinate with other professional surveyors and teams to execute land survey project scope and schedule
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the most advanced and complex survey methodologies
Supervise technicians and field crews to complete a variety of large‑scale land surveying projects
Serve as the client contact for HDR
Be responsible for signing and sealing plats and drawings
Provide technical expertise to the firm in all areas of survey services
Consult on many complex projects
Help to develop new quality standards in both technical application and delivery
Mentor and train a team of technicians on state survey requirements and QA/QC processes
Apply a strong technical skill set, including AutoCAD and MS Office
Address complex technical issues with Project Managers and clients
Perform field layout on complex or large sites, conduct research and renew client and government records, and address more difficult site measurements
Perform other duties as assigned to help accomplish strategic goals
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in a closely related field or a combination of education and relevant experience
A minimum of 5 years of land surveying experience
Registered Land Surveyor
Project management experience with survey projects and managing staff
