Responsibilities
Programming experience in Tridium is a must; experience with Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or Carrier is an advantage.
Install controllers, sensors, and actuators.
Field‑verify proper operation of all control devices.
Troubleshoot existing installations down to the component level.
Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and maintenance of a clean work area.
Discuss automation system malfunctions with customers to isolate problems or verify corrections.
Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
Study blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturers' recommendations to ascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment components and ensure proper installation.
Run and terminate low‑voltage wiring and cabling as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualified individuals will have 3+ years of experience programming and installing building automation systems.
Experience includes: Boiler and chiller plants, custom AHUs, rooftop units, integration to ancillary systems, etc.
Competencies
Knowledge and experience programming fully programmable and application‑specific controllers.
Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and operating principles of electrical devices.
Ability to communicate with internal team and customers.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations and diagnose and resolve problems.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Salary
Union Scale $50 - 57 hourly
