Production Supervisor – Night Shift (Fort Worth, TX)
At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently hiring a Production Supervisor – Night Shift based in Fort Worth, Texas.
Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading and managing the night shift production teams in a fast‑paced environment. The Production Supervisor ensures daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets are met across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Mobilization, Nature, and Growth, while developing team capabilities and sustaining an Integrated Work Systems (IWS) culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to night shift production teams, including performance feedback, recognition, and development.
Ensure adherence to all Safety and Quality standards, policies, and procedures; drive a culture where safety and food quality are non‑negotiable.
Lead daily Direction Setting using SQCDMN metrics to align the team on priorities and deliver night shift KPIs.
Monitor night shift performance, lead corrective actions, and ensure production information boards, DMS, and KPIs are consistently updated and reviewed.
Analyze short‑ and long‑term data trends; lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities using IWS/CI tools to restore and sustain base conditions.
Support and deploy Danone Integrated Work Systems (IWS), including Defect Handling, Centerlining, Clean‑Inspect‑Lubricate (CIL), Breakdown Elimination, and Step‑Up Card development.
Partner with Maintenance to prioritize and coordinate technical work on night shift, reduce downtime, and ensure effective execution of planned and unplanned interventions.
Develop and execute staffing and scheduling plans to remove bottlenecks, optimize labor utilization, and ensure on‑time, in‑full delivery of production plans.
Champion the deployment of business systems, standard work, and visual management to drive consistency and accountability across the night shift.
Communicate effectively across all levels (operations, maintenance, quality, logistics, and leadership) to ensure seamless shift handoffs and alignment on issues impacting performance.
Manage employee relations matters on the night shift in partnership with HR, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and supporting an inclusive, engaging work environment.
Physical Demands
Standing and walking for extended periods within a manufacturing environment.
Frequent movement between production lines, stairs, and platforms.
Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving materials and equipment up to 25 lbs.
Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a food and beverage manufacturing environment with exposure to:
Moderate noise levels, moving machinery, and wet or humid conditions in some areas.
Temperature variations depending on processing area.
Work schedules may need to adjust periodically to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation as business needs dictate.

Ensure adherence to plant standards and procedures (including but not limited to GMP, AIB, FDA, IWS, Quality, Safety, Finance, ISO, HOPE, Danone Behaviors, Daily Direction Setting, Driving OE). Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field OR 4+ years of relevant supervisory experience in manufacturing required.
• Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies (IWS, TPM, Six Sigma)
preferred.
Leadership experience in a union environment
preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong transformational leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams is required.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate across all levels of the organization is required.
Proven ability to manage priorities, make sound decisions based on business needs, and drive accountability is
preferred.
Experience with inventory management and warehouse/production systems such as SAP is
preferred.
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees, fostering engagement and continuous improvement is
preferred.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive corrective actions is required.
