Litigation Paralegal

Job Description
Paralegal position (full-time) available with Ridgeland, Mississippi Law Firm specializing in litigation.

Qualifications
Minimum two years of litigation paralegal experience preferred along with experience reviewing and analyzing medical records and summarization. Medical background or heavy personal injury litigation experience is a plus. Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and thorough knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Pay commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Medical record collection and summary

Track and control discovery

Compiles, prepares and summarizes relevant materials for use by attorneys in discovery and in preparation of motions, briefs, and other legal documents

Summarize depositions

Communication with clients

Maintaining calendars and deadlines

Organize and maintain files

E-filing legal documents

Maintain case files

Performs online research

Preparation for trial
