Summary:
The Paralegal will be assigned to the high-volume No-Surprise Act ("NSA") Arbitration Department. Duties will include preparing Federal and State NSA arbitration cases from onset through to post-judgment.
Responsibilities:
Daily management of the high-volume Federal and State NSA arbitration portfolios.
Drafting briefs and compiling exhibits for submission to arbitrators.
Coordinating and maintaining all arbitration schedules, deadlines, and arbitration calendars.
Drafting, proofreading, formatting routine correspondence and arbitration documents that conform to applicable rules.
Submitting arbitration documents via online portals.
Proactively assume other duties as necessary.
Meet weekly with the Chief Operating Officer, Director of Operations and in-house counsel to review arbitration issues.
Qualifications:
Computer literate with detailed data-entry skills
Organized and able to handle a heavy workload with accuracy
Impeccable written and oral communication skills
At least 2 years of ligation/law office experience preferred
At least 1 year of medical office experience preferred
