This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 2-3 days per week in the office, with additional in-office time as business needs require. During the initial 6‑month probationary period, the role will be fully in-office.

Core Daily Responsibilities
Review and process routine property‑related forms, applications, and records following established procedures and guidelines, including RCWs, WACs, and County ordinances relevant to Assessor‑Treasurer Office services.
Perform routine calculations and updates of property values and taxes, including adjustments, recalculations, back taxes, refunds, depreciation costs, and supplemental assessments.
Assist in determining eligibility for various tax programs or exemptions, or appeals by following established guidelines, and explain decisions to taxpayers.
Respond to inquiries from the public and stakeholders, providing accurate information and guidance on property tax matters.
Minimum Qualifications
Additional education or experience which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of this position may substitute on an annual basis.

Two (2) years of experience in clerical, cashiering, and/or regulatory services, including one (1) year of customer service experience.
