Home Infusion Nurse (RN) - Sarasota/Brandenton

The Registered Nurse (RN) position is an independent contractor with growth opportunities within Prosper Infusion. We seek reliable, flexible ICs skilled in technology and communication, who can swiftly respond to referrals and patient requests in Sarasota/Bradenton.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Will Be Responsible For:

Administering intravenous (IV) infusions, intramuscular (IM) and/or subcutaneous (SC) injections in patients’ homes

Educating and informing patients about IV and SC therapies in person and by phone

Working with patients in a friendly, calm and efficient manner while maintaining safety

Providing consultations to patients and/or family members, reviewing health history, reasons for therapy, and completing all required forms (consent, assessments, nursing notes)

Preparing clinical and progress notes, coordinating services, and informing physicians and other personnel of changes in patient condition and needs

Initiating appropriate preventative nursing procedures

Collaborating with our pharmacists to plan and order supplies

Consulting with Prosper Infusion pharmacists and the Medical Director as needed

Maintaining high ethics and integrity, working independently and with a team

Adhering to all policies and procedures, maintaining compliance at all times

Assisting with other services as needed

Representing the organization in a positive and professional manner

Prior experience with administration of IV therapies and infusion pumps is required.

Nurses must hold their own professional malpractice insurance for this role.
