FAA Inspector - Level 3 (1st shift)

As an Inspector – Level 3 at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace products and components, contributing to the highest standards of safety and reliability in our manufacturing processes.

You will report directly to our Inspection Manager and work on site in Phoenix, Arizona.

This position impacts the safety, performance, and regulatory compliance of Honeywell Aerospace products, supporting our commitment to excellence in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Document inspection results and report any non‑conformances or defects to the appropriate teams.

Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.

Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection processes and quality assurance.

You must have

Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in aerospace inspection or a related quality assurance role.

Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards, inspection techniques, and quality control processes.

Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.

Experience with documentation and reporting of inspection findings in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards.
