Job Description
As an Inspector - Level 3 at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace products and components. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability in our manufacturing processes. You will report directly to the Inspection Manager and work on-site at our Phoenix, Arizona location.
In this role, you will impact the safety, performance, and regulatory compliance of Honeywell Aerospace products, supporting our commitment to excellence in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Document inspection results and report any non-conformances or defects to the appropriate teams.
Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection processes and quality assurance.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace inspection or a related quality assurance role.
Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards, inspection techniques, and quality control processes.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
Experience with documentation and reporting of inspection findings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience with AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across functions.
