Job Description
The Product Development Engineer supports all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept and initial design through testing and transition to production, working on both design updates and clean-sheet developments in high-performance environments.

Responsibilities

Support all aspects of product design, from concept development through documentation and release.

Perform analytical evaluations using calculations and modeling techniques.

Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and design review documentation.

Develop fabrication methods, work instructions, and risk/compliance documentation.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and technical teams.

Manage project timelines, priorities, and budget considerations.

Communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers as needed.

Support proposal development and business development activities.

Qualifications

Eligible to work in a regulated environment with applicable compliance requirements.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.

Proficient with CAD, simulation, and analysis tools used for mechanical design and evaluation.

Experience with engineering analysis methods such as FEA and CFD preferred.

Hands-on experience with design for manufacturability and prototype fabrication or testing desired.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
