Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex maintenance on a diverse fleet of vehicles and specialized equipment
Diagnose and repair brake and suspension systems with precision
Troubleshoot and resolve chassis and drivetrain issues
Service engine and emissions systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance
Maintain, diagnose, and repair hydraulic and electrical systems on aerial and mobile equipment
Repair and maintain small engine equipment
Perform professional‑grade welding and fabrication as needed
Accurately complete electronic work orders and service documentation
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; formal technical training strongly preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Class “A” Mechanic
Proven ability to service light‑duty vehicles, including aftermarket accessory installation
Skilled in maintaining and repairing Class 7 and 8 trucks
Experienced with electric and air brake systems on trailers
Familiarity with aerial equipment is highly desirable
Welding experience required (MIG and Stick)
Proficient in computer‑based diagnostics for both light‑and heavy‑duty vehicles
Must own essential hand tools (specialty tools provided by company)
Class B CDL required; Class A license preferred
