Position:
Maintenance Technician
| Schedule:
Full-Time
(9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call, Weekend, Holiday Rotation Required
Responsibilities
Complete assigned maintenance work orders and service requests in a timely manner
Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and building systems
Complete make-ready process of vacant rooms as directed by the Director of Maintenance
Deliver supplies and materials to designated units as needed
Monitor work performed by outside contractors for quality and compliance
Respond to emergency maintenance calls as scheduled (on-call rotation)
Report to work during weather events, emergencies, or staffing shortages as needed
Maintain and inspect building systems and equipment
Keep grounds, dumpster areas, and exterior spaces clean and safe
Report any damage, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Director of Maintenance
Maintain professional communication with residents, staff, vendors, and contractors
Follow all OSHA, facility, state, and federal safety regulations
Requirements
Experience in facility maintenance, healthcare maintenance, or building maintenance
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency maintenance situations
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be reliable for on-call and rotating coverage schedule
Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated; vaccination guidance follows CDC eligibility
